Advisory Board

The Dental Complaints Service has an Advisory Board which will advise the Director on operational issues as they arise, including advice on dental matters, complaints handling best practice, appropriate service level standards, and the day to day operational performance of the Service.  The Advisory Board will report to the General Dental Council at least annually.

The Board comprises the following:

Meredyth Bell (Dentist Member of the General Dental Council)

Mike Drewry (Lay Member and representative of the Trading Standards Institute)

Shelagh Farrell (Dentist and representative of the Faculty of General Dental Practice)

John Mooney (Dentist and representative of the British Dental Association)

David Murphy (Lay Member of the General Dental Council)

Mabel Slater (Dental Care Professional Member of the General Dental Council)

Gary Waller (Lay Member and representative of Which?)
